|
Why California Springs?
We claim to do the "World's Best Printing" on the "World's Best Bottles" ... and there's much more ... please click on
Why are California Springs bottles more expensive than other bottles?
First of all, this is not the case. We
offer our American Value promotional line of Bottles that are
superior in quality to other promotional bottles in the marketplace,
yet cost the same or less. If you compare features to features,
you’ll find that our Basic and Premium lines of bottles are very
price competitive. Ask the end user to compare the feel, the look,
the printing and the built-in quality of our California Springs Bottles
to anything else they’ve seen, touched or used and they will always
make the right choice. Please see for more information.
How many bottle colors does California Springs offer?
Currently we offer
more than 50 colors of bottles and a matching number of Cap colors.

Why is a wide choice of bottle colors so important?
Vibrant, unique colors are always more
exciting that the same ole’ white bottle every body else is using.
Every corporation, school, event, team, etc. has their own color
scheme. By offering a wide, wide range of bottle colors ... and Caps,
we can generally offer a bottle color that works well with their
scheme. By having 50+ cap colors, we have a color that will match or
compliment any imprint color adding to the overall quality
appearance of the project.
What is the difference between Basic, Premium
and Elite Colors?
Our Basic Color assortment features our most popular
colors which we purchase in large quantities with quantity discounts
which we pass on to our customers. Our Premium Colors are just that.
They pretty much run the gamut of fashion. The Elite Series features
an even more eclectic color range. There is a 15¢ (g) per bottle
surcharge and a $35.00 per order set up charge for Premium & Elite
Colors.
What if you don’t have the exact color I need? Can I have
bottles and caps made in my own special color?
Yes. There is a minimum
order of 2500 bottles. Price would be the same as the Premium and
Elite Colors above.
Why does Crystal Clear cost so much more than
Frosted Clear?
Most of our bottles are made of LDPE Plastic (Please see
definitions below) and crystal clear (glass) clarity is not available
in LDPE. Our crystal clear bottles are made of PVC which is a more
costly material.
Is a “Cap” the same as a “Lid”?
Yes. A cap by any
other name (“Lid”, “Top”, “Closure”) is still a “Cap” in all of our
published information. And by the way, the “Stopper” is called a
“Poppet”.
What is a DuoFlowTM Cap?
Some people only want a sip of water
at a time. Others want to get as much as possible as fast as
possible. Our triple locking, leakproof DuoFlowTM system adjusts from a
squirt to a mouthful. For complete details please click .
What is the advantage of a “Tethered” Cap?
Our
Classic
and SuperTwister Series bottles come with tethered DuoFlowTM Caps. The
reason is simple yet fundamental to the bottles use as a promotional
product. If the end user loses the Cap, They throw the bottle away.
If they throw away the bottle, they throw away the advertising
message as well. Not a good thing!
Can the bottle and cap be two
different colors?
Yes.
Is there an extra cost for contrasting color
caps?
There is no extra charge for contrasting color caps. We suggest
matching one of your ink colors to the cap color for best
results.
Does the bottle come with the Cap already on or do I have to
assemble it myself?
All California Springs bottles are shipped fully
assembled.
How many styles and sizes of bottles are in the California
Springs line?
We offer 16 bottles sizes in 17 Bottle Styles. Please
click on .
What kind of Plastics are used in California
Springs Bottles?
We use several different kinds of plastics depending
on the application and end use.

LDPE -
|
Our Mini Series, Classic Series,
SuperTwister and Xtreme Series bottles all use LDPE (Low Density
Polyethylene). LDPE has the feel of quality and is soft and easy to
squeeze (important for a “Squeeze” bottle!).
|
|
HDPE -
|
Our AV Series
promotional bottles use HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). It uses
less material, and the material itself costs less than LDPE resulting
in a lighter weight, less expensive ... and hard to squeeze bottle.
Our Transport bottle is made of a blend of HDPE and LDPE in order to
hold the shape of the hole that holds the stress ball or toy.
|
|
PVC -
|
Our Crystal Clear Bottles are made of PVC (PolyVinylCloride). It
provides the clarity that the polyethylene bottles cannot. It is
more durable than the PP and PET materials used by the bottled water
and beverage container folks.
|
|
PC -
|
Polycarbonate bottles are currently
quite popular. They claim to be virtually unbreakable and are
odorless and do not add to the taste of the beverage contained.
Only draw back is the inconvenience of use (Cap must be taken off
and replaced before and after every drink is taken). This is a range of
bottles made for California Springs in Asia.

What is the difference
between the Classic Seriesand The Xtreme Series?
Besides the obvious
body style difference, the Classic Series features our triple locking,
leakproof DuoFlowTM Cap and the Xtreme Series features a wide mouth
63mm Twist on/off DuoFlowTM Cap. Both are made of our premium LDPE
easy squeeze plastic.
